Fanview are very pleased to announce the addition of marketing ace Siena Dixon to our growing team, giving us a full-time presence in the United States.
Based in New York, she joins Fanview with more than a decade of experience in marketing, communications and brand strategy across the sports, technology and retail industries – both agency and client side.
After moving to North America in 2015, she worked for global marketing consultancy Edelman on their digital and strategy team, before joining the start-up world in New York, leading the brand and marketing function for a direct to consumer retail start up and helping the brand expand internationally into the US, Canada and Europe.
Siena’s position with sports technology firm, Deltatre, from 2010 to 2014, saw her responsible for defining and managing the marketing and communications function for the London group, before pioneering the company’s expansion into Australasia.
“I’ve had the fortune of working with the Fanview founding team extensively throughout my career and have always been impressed by their innovative approach to every aspect of work, whether that’s developing new technologies or expanding industries and creating a completely new genre of work.”
“Fanview’s team understand what motivates people at their core. That’s important for the fans we’re serving but it’s also important behind the scenes to foster a motivated, potent team of creatives, technologists and strategists.”
“I’m excited to help expand Fanview’s offering to the sports and e-sports industry in the United States as well as creative brand teams across new industries.”
Siena has had the good fortune of providing strategic marketing consultancy for a diverse range of clients including the National Rugby League (NRL), World Superbikes, Walmart (no judgments!) and Scotiabank across Sydney, London, Toronto and New York.
Like any good Aussie turned wanna-be New Yorker, Siena spends most of her personal hours travelling to remote parts of the globe, searching for the perfect coffee shop and experimenting with the latest health fad (turmeric oat latte anyone?).
“We’re very excited that Siena is joining Fanview’s leadership team,” said Fanview managing director Jim Irving.
“Her significant marketing and communications experience in the sports and technology sectors will provide enormous value across all areas of Fanview’s business. More importantly, Siena’s strong creative, interpersonal and leadership skills will be invaluable as we look to build on the high-profile projects Fanview has already delivered into the US market."
